僕が所有している軽自動車を子供の名義に変更する
僕は普通自動車と軽自動車を所有していますが、同居の子供が遠方に就職することになったので、あまり使っていない軽自動車を譲ることにしました。
車検証も自動車任意保険も僕の名義になっているので、先に車検証の名義を変更してから任意保険も変更していきます。
なお、この軽自動車は110万円以下で購入しているので、贈与税は発生しないはずです。
軽自動車の車検証の名義変更
必要な書類は？
軽自動車協会のサイトhttps://www.keikenkyo.or.jp/から必要な書類を調べます。
サイトの真ん中あたりにある緑色で囲まれた「どのような手続きでお困りですか？」から「軽自動車を譲る・譲り受ける。（名義変更）をクリックすると「手続きナビ」に移動するので、これを利用すると必要な書類が表示されます。
今回、僕が必要な書類は
１．自動車検査証（車検証） 原本
２．新しく使用者になられる方の住民票の写しまたは印鑑証明書
３．申請依頼書 ※代理人による申請のため
思っていたより簡単そう。
もちろん申請書も必要
4.自動車検査証記入申請書（軽第1号様式または軽専用第1号様式）
その他のご案内・注意事項のところに、「・お手続きに必要な申請書は、窓口にて無料でお渡ししています。」と記載されていますが、様式をサイトからダウンロードできるので、事前に作成することにします。
5.軽自動車税申告書
軽自動車協会または市町村で入手できるみたいです。
書類の入手と作成
必要な書類は5つ。
1.車検証は、軽自動車の助手席の下に説明書と一緒にありました。
2.新しく所有者になる方の住民票は市役所等で入手します。これはコピーでもいいんですね。
3.申請依頼書（※本来は新しく所有者になる子供が申請するべきなんですが、僕（代理人）による申請のため）はダウンロードして印刷し、関係者の住所氏名と車両番号等を記入します。
4.自動車検査証記入申請書をダウンロードして記入します。記入の際に難しいところはないのですが、住所コードは調べないとわかりませんね。
こちらのサイト（自動車登録関係コード検索システム）から検索しました。
5.軽自動車税申告書は協会に行ってから入手し記入します。
書類を準備して軽自動車協会へ
自分の住んでいる都道府県の軽自動車協会に行って手続します。
5.軽自動車税申告書は窓口から用紙をもらって記載台で記入します。
5つの書類を受付窓口に提出してチェックしてもらいOKがでたので、順路に沿って歩いて登録窓口に行き書類を提出して、待つこと３分ほどで車検証が発行されました。
あっけないほど簡単に、自分で車検証の名義変更が出来ました。
思っていたより簡単だったな。
自動車保険も変更
自動車任意保険も名義変更します。
同居家族の名義変更は「等級」の引継ぎができるみたいなので、子供が引っ越しされる前にしておいた方がいいですね。
必要な書類は、変更後の車検証、住民票の写し、免許証の写し でした。
こちらも、なにも問題なく変更できました。
